The OAQHA Challenge gives all Non-Pro exhibitors an opportunity to ride in a unique format for payback, prizes, and recognition.

In 2022, we are offering Showmanship, Horsemanship, and Hunt Seat Equitation. Exhibitors have an opportunity to earn an invitation to the Finals at their local Area/Promotional club shows – the Top 5 average scores from the Youth/Amateur/Select (combined) from one show in each of Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, and EOQHA qualify for a spot in the Finals, as well as a few Level 1 Wild Card qualification opportunities.

The Challenge will culminate in an exciting Finals event at the OQHA Summer Finale over Labour Day Weekend. During the Finals the qualifiers will ride/lead off in the ultimate showdown with the Top 10 exhibitors being recognized. With the support of CQHA and various product sponsors we are able to offer exciting cash prizes and awards. Not only does this event offer exhibitors an opportunity to compete for prizes and cash, it’s an opportunity for Non-Pros to compete against different exhibitors than they do most weekends and challenge themselves with a competitive environment and challenging patterns in preparation for the Fall majors.

There will be one more opportunity to qualify at the EOQHA Hot Hot Sizzler!
