A survey regarding
Transport-Related Problem Behaviours in Horses
in Canada
 
Calgary, AB -- January 18, 2020 --The CQHA has received the following request to circulate this survey to our membership and encourages you to participate...  
   
 
 
 
   
You are invited to participate in a survey investigating transport stress in horses in Canada. The propose of this survey is to help identify possible connections between transport-related transport behaviours and injuries, and factors such as training method, type of transport vehicle and protective equipment used. The results of the study could be used as a reference for Canadian horse owners/handlers to learn more about on proper training methods and better equipment selection.
 
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. To participate, please click on the following link:

This survey is approved by the Human Ethical Review committee (HERC) of the University of Edinburgh. Your responses will be anonymous and kept confidential. They will only be used for statistical purposes and none of the responses will be connected to identifying information.
