December 2021
The 2021 Canadian Quarter Horse Association (CQHA) board of directors focused on building capacity to position and promote the quality of Canadian quarter horse breeding programs, quality of trainers, and training programs and the domestic and international results those programs have produced. Working to address the priorities identified by the CQHA members at the last Annual General Meeting –
our board has been working toward expanding the CQHA footprint in the whole of the Quarter Horse Industry.
I want to applaud the dedication of the CQHA Board and CQH A members who committed and participated to the Board meetings and the work on the different committees. CQHA Board members like Melanie Burns and Brad Bowie have been active first responders and front-line workers during the pandemic and have remained dedicated and engaged with CQHA.
Special mention should also be made to the many CQHA members who volunteered their time this past year on committees and at major Canadian and American events, presenting CQHA awards, promoting CQHA programs, and interviewing Canadians to high light the value of our industry.
